FEATURES:
  • H-A MOUTHPIECE: The user can easily talk and swallow while firmly holding the mouthstickswith the molars of both sides. Two standard sizes fit 98% of all users, or custom made by mail. Ready to use; no additional work on the mouthpiece required by a dentist.
  • MODULAR DESIGN: The mouthpiece is the basic element to which our standard telescoping mouthsticks "body" or other "bodies" for special purposes are attached.
  • TELESCOPING: The disabled user can easily extend or shorten the mouthsticksas needed. It can be extended 50% its original size.
  • STURDY LIGHT-WEIGHT aluminum construction. A mouthsticksdesigned and built for serious work. It won't flex easily. Instead, it will precisely transmit every head or mouth motion to the work. The entire mouthsticks, with its pen and eraser tip attached, weighs 2.2 oz (63 grams).
  • UNASSISTED INTERCHANGE OF TIPS: Designed for the user to interchange tips unassisted. The user can at any time go from pen to eraser tip or vice-versa, or to other tips.
  • VISIBILITY OF TIP for writing, typing, etc.: The pen, which is an integral part of this mouthsticks, is held with an inclination similar to the way a pen is normally held with the hand. The inclination makes the tip of the pen visible when writing, or the eraser tip visible for hitting the right key of a computer, calculator, etc.

USES:  Reading: turn pages back and forth, one or one hundred at a time, (important for consulting dictionaries or other reference books), typing, filing, dialing the telephone, writing "long hand" (a pen is an integral part of the mouthsticks), drawing, painting (tips with different brushes can be easily interchanged), turning knobs (of stereos, etc.), pushing buttons of calculators, remote controls, etc., interchange floppy disks unassisted, etc.
