Dear Mr. Heyer:
I’m back... for additional equipment. I have been
a very satisfied customer of EI for more than 13 years
and still have not found a better designed or
functioning mouthstick.
I use your products every day in both my professional
and personal life. Basically, “If it’s got a button
or handle and I can reach it, I can use it.” – desktop
and notebook computers, speakerphone, fax machine,
elevators, entertainment center, doors. etc.
Continue to keep up the good work and the innovations
coming!
With Best Regards,

Dear Arthur,
I just wanted to take the time to write and let you know how much
your
workstation has meant to me in my life. Prior to getting my modular
turntable desk my use of the computer was extraordinarily limited.
I did
have voice-activated software, but as many people know it can freeze
up
rather easily. Your workstation enabled me to be able to get under
my
computer and move around in an expeditious manner. After receiving
this
workstation I intensified my studies at the University of South
Florida and
finally achieved my goal of receiving a bachelors degree in history.
The
turntable has enabled me to be able to read a multitude of books
and
further accentuated my desire to become as independent as possible.
I have
attached a picture of me at my workstation as portrayed in an article
in
the St. Petersburg Times. I directly attribute the extraordinary
increase
in my health to my ability to read and are autonomously within my
own study.
Thank you so much,
Billy Kimberlin

Dear Arthur, I received your parcel about five
days ago and have been getting used to your equipment.
I think the quality of all your equipment is very good and well made.
I am still experimenting as to the best position of the mouth stick
stand position,
but expect to get this satisfactory in the next couple of weeks.
I will keep in touch, best wishes from one very
satisfied customer,

Subject: Ruben's easel/invoice delay
Dear Greg,
I am sure you already know all about Ruben's
easel, which we
delivered and set up for Ruben on Dec 22. ...
Sincerely,
Arthur Heyer

Arthur,
Yes, I've heard all about the easel and it's
done more for Ruben than
expected. He is VERY happy with it. He is an artist that has a small
stipend
he gets for turning out about one piece a month. We anticipate he'll
be able
to turn out 3 or more in a month and generate a large enough permanent
income from the international art association he's in to become
self-sufficient. I'm very glad that we heard about the equipment you
build.
It's a great service.
Thanks Again,
Greg
Note: Greg Fitze is a rehab counselor at Norwalk
branch California Department
of Rehabilitation. He ordered one of our motorized easels for Ruben,
who is a mouth
artist.

New Turntable Desk

Arthur,
On Tuesday, October 5, Jon Simkovitz of Keyboard
Alternatives installed my new turntable desk
at my home. Arthur, I am very, very pleased with your work. The appearance
and finish work is
excellent. The veneer is very attractive, well installed and simply
beautiful. The second level
extension table is sturdy and fits my use perfectly
I now have an Extensions for Independence turntable
desk at work and at home. My "at work''
desk dates from 1987 and has held up very well to daily use.
As a comment to you Arthur, I think the quality
of your construction and finish work has
improved over the years. Well done and keep it up.\

Dear Mr. Heyer:
I just finished accessing your
new Web site -- an excellent addition and forum
for disseminating information about your products.
I have been a very satisfied customer of EI for almost 6 years now
and have found no better designed mouthstick.
Your products helped me immensely
to get through 4 years of under grad/graduate school
-- as it allowed me greater independence: i.e. I took all my own notes,
tests, read, typed on my PC,
pushed door-access/elevator buttons, operated my speakerphone, TV,
stereo, etc.
Keep up the good work and the
innovations coming!
With Best Regards,

Dear Extensions for Independence:
You have a great product. I typed
this letter using your variable-length, angled-tip mouthstick.
While I'm going to begin using voice-entry for word-processing, your
mouthstick comes in handily
for signing correspondence, playing dictionary, or for describing the
(too often)
quadriplegically-challenged notion or idea that comes across
my mind
- e.g. helping me adapt a piece of accessible equipment.J.A., Troy,
NY. - 15 February, 1998
I have been using one of your desks since 1986 in my job
as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor.
It has held up well and been vital in allowing me easy access to my
work.
I have enclosed a picture of my office, and I certenly
do not mind to have both my
name and the picture published with my testimonial.
I look forward to obtaining more of your equipment, such
as your filing trays.
I also look forward to being able to contact you via the internet.
Thank you for your assistance.
Larry Barnes, an electrical engineer working for
TRW in Huntington Beach, is a satisfied
customer since over 12 years ago. He uses one
of our Single-Turntable Desks, a Portable Desk
and two or three of our Universal Telephone
Adapters.
Larry ones wrote something like this "My
wheelchair, my van, and my Portable Desk are
my most appreciated pieces of equipment which accompany me everywhere
I go".
